The Bunker Soratte is a fascist-era underground military complex in San Oreste, Italy, with documented Vatican ties. The site was repurposed as a museum by mayor and museum founder Gregory Paolucci, who reportedly received a WWII-era Swiss Guard jacket from a member of Italian intelligence services when he established the museum.
The bunker appears in UAP discourse through filmmaker sam-sorich’s in-progress Catholic UAP documentary (see src-catholic-filmmaker-vatican-ufo-2026-04), which films at the site as an alleged study location for a 1933 Milan UFO crash referenced in david-grusch’s 2023 congressional testimony. Paolucci confirmed a “real” Vatican-bunker connection but says he cannot link it to the alleged UFO.
