On 11 December 2024, Pollard told the House of Commons that more than 50 years of Ministry of Defence investigation into UAPs had found “no military threat” to the United Kingdom, and confirmed that the MoD ceased investigating UFO/UAP reports in 2009 (src-uk-mod-uap-no-threat-2024).
The statement landed only weeks after usafe-afa’s 48th Fighter Wing publicly reported drone incursions over raf-lakenheath, raf-mildenhall, raf-feltwell, and raf-fairford.
