Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory in northern New Mexico. It is the heritage institution for the Mars rover supercam LIBS instrument and hosted follow-on calibration work for the 2026 neretva-vallis nickel-rich iron sulfide quantification (see src-perseverance-neretva-nickel-rocks-2026-04).
