- Prior UAP preliminary assessments to Congress
- Coordinating with aaro and DoD on UAP records
- In March 2026, publicly announcing via social media that UAP files “will soon be declassified” under donald-trump’s February 2026 directive (src-trump-uap-files-delay-2026-03)
- On May 8, 2026, DNI tulsi-gabbard became the named ODNI coordinator for the pursue inaugural release: “actively coordinating the Intelligence Community’s declassification efforts with the Department of War” for “comprehensive and unprecedented review” of holdings; called the May 8 release “the first in what will be an ongoing joint declassification and release effort” (src-dow-uap-files-release-2026-05).
