Roger Wicker is a Republican U.S. Senator from Mississippi and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. On CBS 60 Minutes (March 2025) he said the Pentagon and senior national-security advisors remain “mystified” by drone-incursions despite classified briefings, and stated that the activity logically appears to be “spying incursions.”
As SASC chair, Wicker oversees NDAA legislation including FY2026 provisions requiring AARO briefings on UAP intercepts.
