December 2025 transparency stall
Per src-uap-transparency-stalls-2025-12, Liberation Times reports a “disconnect” in Rounds’s posture: forceful in his December 2023 floor colloquy with Schumer pledging to keep pushing the Review Board, but more hedging since — including reportedly being unaware of the status of his own UAPDA amendment in 2025 NDAA negotiations. Sources say Rounds has signaled the provision was acceptable in the Senate but blocked in the House, while the language ultimately did not appear in the Senate’s FY2026 NDAA version either.
