Mike Turner posture (2023–)
Per src-uap-transparency-stalls-2025-12, former HPSCI chair mike-turner (R-OH) reportedly opposed key elements of the uap-disclosure-act during the FY2024 NDAA conference committee, contributing to the bill’s dilution from its original Schumer–Rounds form. HPSCI concurrence is one element of the “Four Corners” precondition mike-rogers later imposed for FY2026 inclusion.
